We are very much a patient centred home, we do not run a regimented regime, this is a home for our residents first and foremost. Everyone has different needs and often those needs will change on a daily or even hourly basis. We always retain the flexibility within our team to ensure that we provide care on an individual basis.

Our staff have each been chosen for their caring loving attitude to ensure continued well being and happiness remains at the heart of whatever we do.

Our low turnover of staff is an important factor and ensures that our staff are able to build long term relationships with our residents that can only impact positively in the care that is provided and the quality of life.

Our manager Jo is a qualified nurse and we are well supported by the district nurse team backed up by our local GP's who are always available to help.

We carefully develop an electronic care plan for each resident. The plan is established with the resident and families involvement and is at the very heart
of all the care that we provide. Our team will review and evaluate the care
plan on a regular basis.. At all stages we are keen for the resident and their
family to be involved in the planning as we build a real partnership.

Our care plan system enables us to record the actions that have been taken and provides an excellent system that assists with continuity and enables any member of the team to quickly understand which tasks have been completed and what needs to be done on a daily basis to deliver the care plan.
